New country view

I wasn’t playing this game back then but I imagine when there were very little countries in this game, the current countries view was probably pretty usable. I think that now though, alphabetical order is not a great choice since there is an ever-growing and already large catalog of countries, and there’s a reason why most new countries proposed have A or B-names (I’m guilty, I added Al- to the front of my country proposal partially because I did not want my country to be dead), because if they don’t, the country will probably be ignored by new players, and even older players because they know that all the countries lower on the list will be really boring to play in. I’ve seen people say the game should switch to a random order to fix this, but I think this may be a better solution: Have multiple ‘categories’ on the list. Of course, you should still have a button to see the alphabetic-order list of all countries, and still have a search bar that lets you find countries and the results should be in alphabetical order, but I think there should be some ways the countries are categorized:

• ‘Active’ countries: This would involve creating a measure of activity in countries, probably based on how often legislation and budgets are proposed. These countries are countries where this activity is highest.

• ‘Hidden gems’: These are countries where activity is lower.

• ‘Trending’ countries: Countries with the most frequent creation of new parties.

• ‘New’ countries: The newest countries added to the game.

You could then also show every continent as a category with its countries below.
