    I posted this in the industry overhaul request, but this might be more appropriate, here. Sorry if it’s too far in progress to make any changes: “This also has huge potential for the election calendar and fundraising - the presence of named, interactive companies could also have consequences for parties that seek funds from these large corporations. E.G., say I solicit donations from Company Y for a huge payout and a 2-week boost before elections. Next time around, I might have to pledge to the company, not the people, to do something in the legislature. Often times, to “nerf” it or make it a risky gamble, the pledge will be drastic and likely not in line with my pillars. But the buffs for taking money should be big in the short term.”
